The UHD Bilingual E-Library is a large-scale digital reading platform designed to support literacy development, accessibility, and family learning across Houston. The platform delivers a continuously growing collection of bilingual eBooks in English and Spanish, paired with interactive learning experiences that encourage reading comprehension, engagement, and long-term participation for students, parents, and educators.

My Role
As Web Architect & Digital Platforms Lead, I serve as the technical owner of the UHD Bilingual E-Library, overseeing the platform from infrastructure to user experience. My role spans architecture design, daily operations, accessibility compliance, analytics and reporting, vendor and licensing coordination, and long-term sustainability planning beyond grant funding.
- End-to-end platform ownership: architecture, hosting, updates, backups, and monitoring
- Accessibility implementation including text-to-speech, bilingual UI standards, and QA
- Analytics and reporting dashboards supporting evaluation and grant requirements
- Vendor management, licensing continuity, and cost control
- Operational documentation and technical handover planning for long-term support
